Les Ruchers d'Arnaud et Virginie
Our bees forage within a 3 km radius of our apiaries, located in the heart of the Parc des Caps et Marais d'Opale, in sites carefully chosen by the beekeeper, where the melliferous potential is optimal. So our honey is a truly local product. We harvest 2 or 3 times in the spring and once in the summer, so we can follow the development of the different flowering periods and create a honey with a variety of colours, flavours and textures.
In spring, the honey is fairly clear, crystallises quickly and finely, is rich in glucose and has a creamy texture. As summer progresses, it takes on a darker hue, with a higher concentration of fructose, remaining liquid and crystallising over time.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. We also encourage you to plant local, melliferous species in your garden. The bees will be grateful to you.
